The Refer a Friend promotion allows existing FIT Lane Cove members to refer a friend to join the club. As a reward, the referring member will receive two weeks off their membership once their referral has successfully signed up.

Promotion Details

The promotion begins on 10th February 2025 and will continue indefinitely (no set end date).

It will be advertised via in-club screens on cardio equipment and gym floor displays.
Eligibility

Only active FIT Lane Cove members are eligible to refer a friend.
- Members on a pre-paid contract are not eligible for the two-week membership credit.

The referring member will only receive their two-week membership credit once their referral has officially joined FIT Lane Cove.
- Offer is available to both annual and flexible memberships.
Processing the Two-Week Credit

Confirm Referral’s Membership: Ensure that the referred friend has successfully signed up and their membership is active (once their cooling-off period has expired).

Manually Adjust Billing Date: The two-week credit needs to be manually applied to the referring member’s account by overriding the next billing date in our CRM platform, Links (see video below).

Record in HubSpot List: A HubSpot list will be maintained, storing all referral details for tracking purposes.

Hubspot & Member Management
Please note that you can access and view all referred prospects/members by clicking on the REFER A FRIEND list view found with the Contact section of the Hubspot platform. Here you will find the referred member.
You will receive the relevant tasks based on the prospects journey. Once the prospect has joined and their Lead Status has been changed to Became a Member a task will be created 14 days after with the instructions on when to update the member who referred the new prospect and when to provide them with their free two weeks.
