Being part of the concierge team requires us to make sure that we’ve communicated all the possible alternative solutions to a cancellation request.
We want to make sure that the member has considered all the possible alternatives to cancelling their membership.
This could include but is not limited to:
- Transfer Membership: Transferring their membership to a friend or family member is a great way to keep the membership active. All membership transfers include a $0 initiation fee and they keep the current membership rate. NOTE: The fee is $35 (admin fee) per transfer. Reason: Location Change
- Membership Suspension/Freeze: When someone is thinking about cancelling we can offer them a suspension on their membership for a small fee per week from 2 weeks to 4 months. This gives them time to reconsider. If they did cancel and then want to join again they would need to pay the upfront initiation fee and the current membership rate. NOTE: The fee is 50c per day. Reason: Financial or Time Constraints, Health Issues, Personal Circumstances.
- Personal Training Sessions & Plans: We can offer members who are feeling they’re not getting enough from their membership their own personalised training program through one of our available PT’s (costs may vary). NOTE: We can offer 3x30 minute sessions for the value of $135 at no charge. Reason: Health Issues, Disinterest or Lack of Motivation, Alternative Fitness Methods, Contractual or Membership Issues.
- Assist in Booking a Class: We can help someone who is having trouble booking a class due to technical issues or they’re finding that their classes are booked out. NOTE: 2 Classes per week for 3 weeks. Reason: Difficulty Booking a Class
