How to reset Links Software when there is an issue.
1. Software Error or Not Responding:
Step 1: Relaunch the Software

- If Links is showing an error message, close the software.
- Relaunch Links to see if the issue resolves.
Step 2: Restart the Computer

- If relaunching doesn't solve the problem, shut down the computer completely.
- Restart the computer.
- After the computer has restarted, open Links again and check if it works.
2. Network or Connectivity Issues:
- Step 3: Check Router Connection
- If Links still isn't working, head to the communications room and locate the router.
- Unplug the router from its power source and wait for 30 seconds.
- After 30 seconds, plug the router back in.
- Wait for the router light to turn green, indicating that the connection is restored.
- Step 4: Reopen Links
- Once the router is online and the light is green, go back to your computer.
- Open Links again and check if it is functioning properly.
- Step 5: Perform a Full Router Reboot
- If Links still isn’t working, return to the communications room and locate the router.
- Unplug the router from its power source and wait for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, plug the router back in.
- Wait for the router light to turn green, indicating that the connection is restored.
- Return to your computer and follow Step 4 to check if Links is functioning properly.
