Kids Club Staff Member's Purpose

The Kids Club Staff is responsible for creating a safe and engaging child minding environment to the health club members and their families.

The Kids Club is a free child minding service for children aged 6 weeks and over.

At FIT, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and babies under our care. We believe that every child deserves a nurturing and secure environment. As such, we commit to the following principles:

  1. Providing a safe and child-friendly environment: We will maintain a clean, secure and welcoming space for children and babies, ensuring that all facilities and equipment meet safety standards.
  2. Staff training and supervision: All staff members will undergo thorough background checks and receive training on child protection policies and procedures. We will ensure adequate supervision at all times to prevent any potential risks to children.
  3. Child protection protocols: We have established clear guidelines for identifying and reporting any signs of abuse, neglect, or harm. All staff members are mandated reporters and will follow proper reporting procedures in accordance with local laws.
  4. Communication and transparency: We will maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding our child protection policies and any incidents that may arise. We encourage parents to voice any concerns they may have about their child’s safety.
  5. Continuous improvement: We are committed to regularly reviewing and updating our policies and procedures to ensure they align with best practices and legal requirements. We will seek feedback from staff, parents, and relevant stakeholders to improve our practices.

By adhering to these principles and guidelines, we aim to create a safe and nurturing environment where children and babies can enjoy their time in our care and have fun.
