Welcome to our Kids Club Daily Checklist! This handy tool is designed to ensure that every child in our care has a fun, safe, and engaging experience each day.
By following this checklist, our staff can keep track of important tasks, activities, and individual needs, guaranteeing a well-rounded and enjoyable time for all the babies and children in our care.
Let’s make each day at Kids Club a memorable and exciting time. START SHIFT |
Turn on the air conditioner and TV |
Arrange seats around the table |
Place toys for babies on the blue mats |
Rotate toys for toddlers and older kids daily |
Have sign-in forms ready for members |
Obtain member booking form from Concierge Desk Note: bookings are made every hour, each hour contains 15 spots. Only accept walk-ins if there are less than 15 kids per hour. |
Greet members and inquire about baby or child needs |
Maintain a clean and safe environment for babies and toddlers. |
Disinfect toys and put away if few children remain before the end of the shift. |
TOP TIPS DURING THE SHIFT:
- Ensure babies under 2 years old have a pram as this is a requirement.
- Members may bring in snacks and bottle milk, but peanuts or peanut butter is not permitted into the Kids Club. If a child brings in a small toy, place it in the pram or in the child belongings so that it is not played with in the Kids Club – small toys must be avoided as they pose a choking hazard.
- If babies are content in their pram and there are a few babies nearby, keep the baby in the pram or move them to the blue mat if it’s safe.
- If there are many babies and toddlers, it’s unnecessary to hold a quiet baby on your lap when other babies need soothing or attention.
- If you exhausted all efforts to sooth a baby or toddler and they remain unsettled, recommend a team member step in to comfort the baby or toddler. If none of these methods work, call on the parent to assist in settling them.
- Collect toys and set them aside to prevent them from cluttering the floor, reducing the risk of another child tripping over them. Avoid placing an excessive number of toys on the blue mat to prevent potential harm to babies.
- While the baby or toddler is at the kids club, make sure to keep their lunch boxes and drink bottles together. Remember to close the lunch box when they are done eating and have moved away to play. Before a toddler or child is picked up by their parent, pack up their belongings and place them in their pram or backpack.
