In Hubspot, each prospect has a Lifecycle Stage (LC) that helps indicate where each member is in their journey with FIT. The LC is split into four (4) categories - prospect, opportunity, member and cancelled.
Using the LC stage we are able to segment our database more accurately so that when we want to send an email, for example to only those who have shown interest in joining but have yet to sign up, we can quickly filter out everyone except for those with a LC stage of ‘opportunity’.
Each contact will journey through Hubspot based on their Lifecycle Stage. This is a reflection of their chances of becoming a member at FIT. The lifecycle stage is updated automatically when you update their Lead Status. The lifecycle stage offers the management team a clear and concise overview of how many prospects we have in the funnel, how many have shown interest and have become an opportunity, those who have become a member and those who have cancelled their membership.
- Prospect - has completed a form or submitted their interest.
- Opportunity - has booked a tour with the team.
- Member - has signed up to a membership plan.
- Cancelled - has cancelled their membership.
