Duties & Responsibilities

The main functions of the carer are...

  1. Creating a happy and safe environment for the children attending the Kids Club.
  2. Providing supervision of appropriate play and creative activities.
  3. Ensuring toys and equipment are maintained and safe to play with or use.
  4. Assisting with basic hygiene and supervision of the children when attending the bathroom.
  5. Providing a fun and interactive environment between all children.
  6. Report any incidents or complaints to the appropriate manager FIT.COM.AU.
  7. Development awareness of and assistance in the maintenance of child health and safety.
  8. Establish relationships with the children and their parents/guardians.
  9. Giving each child individual comfort and attention as required.
  10. Assisting in food preparation, feeding, nappy changes and putting babies to sleep.
  11. Day to day communication can be done verbally or via email.
  12. Ensuring cleanliness of the area.
  13. Assist in the general cleaning duties outlined in the cleaning maintenance schedule including disinfecting all toys after use and cleaning floors, emptying bin near the end of the shift.
  14. Monitoring bookings for the Kids Club.
  15. Report any incidents to management.
  16. Attend staff meetings as required.
